Pregnancy Yoga

Support your changing body from 2nd trimester (13 weeks) through to birth!

Birthing Ball Class

I’ll teach you how to use your ball during pregnancy and through to labour... aiding pelvic mobility, easing pelvic and back pain, strengthening, aiding relaxation and importantly promoting a positive baby position for birth
Suitable from 13 weeks but essential in preparation for third trimester. Whether you are having a vaginal birth or Caesarian this class is a must!

Preparation for Birth Workshop

Antenatal session for mummy and birthing partner to attend together to prepare positively for birth and baby and early post postpartum.
Helping YOU gather information, understand what choices YOU have, offering tools YOU may like to use, helping you to prepare for YOUR birth and baby.
Joanne Coulthard trained in breast feeding, pace bottle feeding, colostrum harvesting, and safe sleeping will also offer information and support during and beyond the session.

Please note the session includes core values and philosophy from hypnobirthing and there are some practical elements in the session to get involved in.

Postnatal Yoga

Suitable from 6 weeks after vaginal birth or 10 weeks after caesarian. Suitable for up to 24 months after birth.
After giving birth your body needs time to heal, help to repair and the right activities strengthen - all this at the right pace for you and your recovering body.
We will focus on rebuilding your pelvic floor, healing and strengthening your abdominals starting with the sometimes forgotten inner most abdominal muscles, we’ll improve your posture which could be negatively impacted from pregnancy and left unattended could create issues down the line and over time we’ll show progression so your physical fitness improves all whilst helping create space and time for you mama, rare but important so you are giving your best self to your babies and showing yourself love and care.

Postpartum Education

NEW MAMMIES or mammies with YOUNG BABIES this one is for you!
A session to find out how to safely heal, recover and rebuild your body… from the early days, to weeks to months!
We’ll go through the changing body after birth and areas that need help healing and strengthening to avoid pain or discomfort and to aid healthy, happy living. We’ll cover pelvic floor, spinal alignment and posture, abdominals and more.
We’ll also talk about your mental and emotional wellbeing, what is “normal”, what to look out for, where help is available. Mummy is important too.
